Father and son - work together on something new!

Like all good things in life, bonding moments with father and son can be few and far between. Open Face Racer’s Head Honcho, Howard, and his son Nathan have been working hard together, during lockdown, on bringing this 1997 Suzuki GS125ES to life. 

Howard has always had a soft spot for older bikes, with their character, and build, and wanted to do something classy with the Suzuki. The idea behind the project is to create something simple and comfortable to ride, plus a learner legal street tracker for Nathe. Both easy enough to learn on, whilst giving him the grips of bike mechanics. The plan is to sandblast and respray the frame, replace the seat with a skinny retro style one, replace the petrol tank, handle bars, lights and indicators to something more café racer. The bike will pay homage to the old school, with a touch of the new. But most importantly, it will be one of a kind, it will be their GS125.
